C.  Evaluates and defines how slavery reshaped European and African life in the Americas

D.  Assesses and articulates the causes and effects of the American Revolutionary movement and the consequential war

E.  Analyzes and explains the origins and development of the American political system from the Revolution through the “Era of Good Feelings”

F. Traces and articulates US territorial expansion between 1801 and 1861, and explains how it affected relations with external powers and Native Americans

G. Explores and explains the economic and demographic factors that led to sectional tensions leading to the Civil War

H. Evaluates and articulates the sources and character of cultural, religious, and social reform movements in US History
